With the recent release of patch 3.2 members made persistent and valiant clears of Northrends dungeons to prepare for the raid and acquire the epic Emblems of Conquest. With the purchase of some spankin new gear from the cheery blood elve quartermaster, guildys entered Ulduar once again but this time with that little extra kick :)

The guild made exceedingly fast work of the titan dungeon, advancing quicker than ever before, but ofc not forgetting to smash the record times on each boss on the way!. As the time passed by, the raid made a final push to Mimiron in an attempt to down the mighty engineer and end the night on a high. The battle was fierce and Mimiron quickly withdrew requiring the need for a hefty leviathan tank. No man or machine could match the battering of blades and magic as we knocked the tank into meltdown, the sheepish gnome continued to leap into new and strange creations in an effort to stop us including both a gnomish roflcopter and a laser turret!! Even so we continued Destroying all of the crafty gnomes vehicles and sent Mimiron packing. The creations may have been mechanical masterpieces but aak cares little for such inventions and is interested only in the epic cache :D

With Mimiron down raid members also completed the required list and grabbed themselves the "Keepers of Ulduar" achievement . Eager with anticipation the courageous members left the antichamper in their wake as they confronted the powerful Keepers of Ulduar and It wasn't long till AAK had struck intense battle within Thorims arena.Thorim didn't remain in hes observation throne for long, as the executed ambush through the hallways forced him into the combat of the arena and now at the mercy of the raid. Hes efforts were in vain as the guild mercifully pummeled the corruption out of the frost giant as he succumbed to hes senses once again.

Pumped up, the guild members continued through the gigantic dungeon hallways and made their way to the snowy territory of Hordir. The Titanic Watcher now influenced by the corruption of the old god Yogg' Saron bestowed hes icy wrath upon the guild. But the frosty winds and icy prisms were not enough to save him from a swift butt kicking and he soon yielded to AAK. With victorious glory in our hearts and epics on our back the raid moved forward into the thriving vivacity of the Conservatory of Life. Cleansing the lush fields and forests AAK challenged the mighty Freya, Protector of Life but just as the other keepers did she surrendered to the might of aak.

Great job in Ulduar every1, progress is nice lets hope we can acomplish the same in heroic.

imperial Fri, 29 May 2009 19:34:19 -0000 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/268336 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/268336 Razorscale Rolls over
Posted 03/05/2009 04:34 AM by imperial.

On the 2nd of May AAK made a brave entry into the mysterious titan dungeon of Ulduar this week the guild was determined to push on throughout the instance and after the sucessful kill of the Flame Leviathan last week raid members were eager to explore and down new bosses.

Members were organized into thier starting vehicles quickly as we moved speedily to Flame Leviathan. Just as before the great machine was defeated leaving hes sprockets and coils bare on the battlefield, but the great organization and initiative of raid members made hes kill even easier and faster than last weeks previous kill. Moving foward into the collosal Forge we set our focus on XT-002 Deconstructor a huge robot patrolling hes home of the scrapyard. But the bigger they are the harder they fall and on the very first attempt the robots annoying voice was finally silenced as we downed and looted hes robotic pockets :P

With Victory in thier hearts the raid progressed on to the beast that is Razorscale. Even with the angry proto drake raining down terror upon the guild, the raid members stayed composed as they skillfully dodged dangerous devouring flames thrown down by the monstor and taking down the ambushers as they rushed to the creatures aid. With the help of Bronzebeard's team of explorers and thier beasty harpoons razorscale was chained up and nailed to the floor to face the guilds full force. Soon enough with some tasty DPS and some amazing work from all, Razorscale rolled over to AAK.

Great Job every1 ! three bosses down already is amazing keep up the work read up on bosses when u can and im sure we can progress on to even more bosses.

imperial Sun, 03 May 2009 11:34:37 -0000 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/254675 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/254675 Fall of Naxxramas
Posted 01/03/2009 11:26 AM by imperial.

On Saturday the 28th AAK made the final push in naxxramas after wiping all 4 quarters we moved upwards into the necropolis to the frost wyrm Lair. Although some members had faced Sapphiron before this time the encounter would be even harsher on heroic giving the encounter a whole new feel. Throughout the battle the frost wyrm continued to rain hes destruction upon the raid but hes attempts were in vain as the guild brought him down in our very first heroic attempt. The fall of Naxx was in reach as we advanced through the corridor to Kel'Thuazds chamber and the last boss of Naxxramas, Kel'Thuzad once a wizard of the kirin tor was captivated by the powers of necrotic magic and after abandoning dalaran forever he fought to seek out the Lich King. Kel'Thuzad now a loyal servent to the lich king was hunted down by arthas and killed but he was reborn as arthas used the powers of the sunwell to transform him into a Lich
Now in the present Kel'Thuzad resides in naxxramas, continuing to aid Arthas now the lich king with hes evil plans. AAK caught him by surprise as he worked within hes chamber, but the gate closed leaving both AAK and Kel'thuzad locked in a intense battle with no escape. Alas the lich's necrotic powers were no match for the guild as we left nothing but the magical remains of him.

GJ everyone

DROPS Voice of Reason, Crown of the Lost Vanquisher, Crown of the Lost Conqueror, Signet of Manifested Pain.

imperial Sun, 01 Mar 2009 18:26:36 -0000 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/223812 http://aak.guildomatic.com/news/show/223812 Counting the Corpses
Posted 24/02/2009 06:36 AM by imperial.

After last weeks great progress through the construct quarter AAK decided to finally finish the job we started and take down Thaddius. The First phase began with killing both Stalagg and Feugen at thier platforms deviding into two main groups the guild engaged both in combat, although the fight didnt seem complex the encounter had a requirement that the two of them both die within seconds of eachother or else there would be serious consequences. Communication was prime here, as the importance of each of the sub bosses health must be fairly equal in percentage throughout time.

Passing the first stage with flying colours AAK leaped down to the platform of thaddius, unleashing the guilds dps upon the monster, Thaddius began activating Polarity shifts causing AAK's members to be inflicted with a positive and negative debuff. Fortunate for us, we had already arranged and planned out the movement and positioning for each charge and the guild began using hes own weapon against him.
