Razorscale Rolls over
|
On the 2nd of May AAK made a brave entry into the mysterious titan dungeon of Ulduar this week the guild was determined to push on throughout the instance and after the sucessful kill of the Flame Leviathan last week raid members were eager to explore and down new bosses.
Members were organized into thier starting vehicles quickly as we moved speedily to Flame Leviathan. Just as before the great machine was defeated leaving hes sprockets and coils bare on the battlefield, but the great organization and initiative of raid members made hes kill even easier and faster than last weeks previous kill. Moving foward into the collosal Forge we set our focus on XT-002 Deconstructor a huge robot patrolling hes home of the scrapyard. But the bigger they are the harder they fall and on the very first attempt the robots annoying voice was finally silenced as we downed and looted hes robotic pockets :P

With Victory in thier hearts the raid progressed on to the beast that is Razorscale. Even with the angry proto drake raining down terror upon the guild, the raid members stayed composed as they skillfully dodged dangerous devouring flames thrown down by the monstor and taking down the ambushers as they rushed to the creatures aid. With the help of Bronzebeard's team of explorers and thier beasty harpoons razorscale was chained up and nailed to the floor to face the guilds full force. Soon enough with some tasty DPS and some amazing work from all, Razorscale rolled over to AAK.
Great Job every1 ! three bosses down already is amazing keep up the work read up on bosses when u can and im sure we can progress on to even more bosses. |

Fall of Naxxramas
|
On Saturday the 28th AAK made the final push in naxxramas after wiping all 4 quarters we moved upwards into the necropolis to the frost wyrm Lair. Although some members had faced Sapphiron before this time the encounter would be even harsher on heroic giving the encounter a whole new feel. Throughout the battle the frost wyrm continued to rain hes destruction upon the raid but hes attempts were in vain as the guild brought him down in our very first heroic attempt. The fall of Naxx was in reach as we advanced through the corridor to Kel'Thuazds chamber and the last boss of Naxxramas, Kel'Thuzad once a wizard of the kirin tor was captivated by the powers of necrotic magic and after abandoning dalaran forever he fought to seek out the Lich King. Kel'Thuzad now a loyal servent to the lich king was hunted down by arthas and killed but he was reborn as arthas used the powers of the sunwell to transform him into a Lich
Now in the present Kel'Thuzad resides in naxxramas, continuing to aid Arthas now the lich king with hes evil plans. AAK caught him by surprise as he worked within hes chamber, but the gate closed leaving both AAK and Kel'thuzad locked in a intense battle with no escape. Alas the lich's necrotic powers were no match for the guild as we left nothing but the magical remains of him.

Counting the Corpses
|
After last weeks great progress through the construct quarter AAK decided to finally finish the job we started and take down Thaddius. The First phase began with killing both Stalagg and Feugen at thier platforms deviding into two main groups the guild engaged both in combat, although the fight didnt seem complex the encounter had a requirement that the two of them both die within seconds of eachother or else there would be serious consequences. Communication was prime here, as the importance of each of the sub bosses health must be fairly equal in percentage throughout time.
Passing the first stage with flying colours AAK leaped down to the platform of thaddius, unleashing the guilds dps upon the monster, Thaddius began activating Polarity shifts causing AAK's members to be inflicted with a positive and negative debuff. Fortunate for us, we had already arranged and planned out the movement and positioning for each charge and the guild began using hes own weapon against him. By splitting up in groups and benefitting from all members with the simular charge AAK quickly brought hes 3million health tumbling down and finally brought the monster to hes end.
Great job every1 on AAK's first Heroic Thaddius kill, i told you h'ed join the corpse count.

Three More have Fallen
|
AAK continues its venture throughout naxx this time with our minds set on the construct quarter. Battling through the wings foul creations and exploring deeper into the quarters halls, we finally reached Patchwerk, unaware as he strolled up and down patrolling that AAK was preparing to ambush the creature. Story tells just how such immense speed and strength patchwerk has in comparison to any other abomination but the raid stayed confident and after a intense battle patchwerk tumbled to the floor "No more play" for you my friend.Continuing in our relentless attack through the quarter we were met by even more evil creations including Grobbulus a huge flesh giant injecting hes unfortunate foes with a plague slime and Gluth the ferocious plague dog. Grobbulus is a deadly incounter but the great movement and commmunication made hes death successful with the guild alrready on a confident streak gluth was unprepareed and hes immense appetite was soon ended as AAK slayed the great beast aswell.
Great job guys keep up the confident focus, Thadius will join the corpse count soon :)
